Blake Jackson "Hello KWC!"

  1. What is your name? Blake Jackson (aka littleFIN)

  2. When did you first get introduced to Kings Wild? Early this year upon discovering the 1982 deck. The artwork was incredible and I was drawn to it since I was born in Feb 1982. I waited awhile before purchasing through another website. Soon after in my search of unique artwork and inspiring decks I discovered the Postage Paid deck. I discovered the artists name and the website and spent the next hour in Space Ball combing the site asking myself how I have just now come to discover KWP and Jackson Robinson. Every deck is amazing and I have never bought a deck from anyone else since. Take my money!

  3. What was your first Kings Wild deck? Unknowingly my first deck was Legal Tender :)

  4. What is your favorite Kings Wild deck? I would have to say, the standard Crayon deck. (have not been able to get hands of the limited and gilded yet) It was the first KW deck I opened. It was very memorable! I even took pictures of every edge of the deck before opening the cellophane packaging. As a collector I marveled over the cellophane its self! Crazy to think, but the worst is when you display a remarkable piece of art in a setting and the position of the deck is showing this ugly refracted mess of cellophane down the side. I thought; "This is quality start to finish". What brought me to open the deck was I had lost my go to deck of cards (the poop deck - long story) I was using daily to practice slight of hand. I chose this to be the deck I use every day also because I am graphics designer and this deck brought out my creativity. Upon opening this deck the feel and movement of the cards were better than any deck I have ever worked with. Seeing the hand colored cards by Claire and Scarlett warmed my heart. I could tell that the KW Crew and Jackson were a caring family with great family values. I wanted to learn slight of hand and magic to grow an even better connection with my daughter and to see her excitement, became a card collector, then a Kings Wild Fan for life. Jackson is an inspiring man and I imagine a really great Dad!

  5. What is your "White Whale" Kings Wild deck? All of the Labyrinth Deck series!

  6. Which Playing Card / Court Card are you? Jack of Kings from the Legal Tender deck. Big fan of Abraham Lincoln and we share the same birth date.

  7. What was your favorite TV show when growing up? Cheers, reruns of night court, possibly MacGyver?

  8. Choose a movie title for the story of your life. Yeah, that movie is yet to come out.

  9. What was your favorite toy as a kid? Pencil and paper!!

  10. What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time? 3D Printing and designing tech for better quality of life.

  11. What is your favorite cereal? Honey Bunches of Oats... any cereal with granola, nuts, raisins or cranberries

  12. What, if anything, have you ever re-gifted? I was gifted a large nose for my shower by my brother-in-law 3 years ago. You could fill each nostril with shower gel or shampoo and when you squeezed the nostril it would pour out. I kept it unopened and stored until December last year. I added it as the grand prize to the nightmare of a Christmas wrap ball I make each year for New Years Eve. I wrapped 13 gifts in the ball and you fight your way to prizes while the person next to you rolls a one and then it moves to the next person. The game goes until you reach the grand prize in the middle. Some years its a $50 Amazon gift card, and some years its a gag. I enjoy building the ball and just watching the mayhem from the side lines ensue. The best part is the victorious winner of the Grand Nose Prize was my brother-in-law. Yes!!

  13. What’s the strangest talent you have? Identify people and objects from a very far distance with only sound; even being able to describe exactly how an object hit the ground.

  14. What was your childhood nickname? Speedy

  15. Do you have any strange phobias? Not that I am aware of.

  16. Which way does your toilet paper hang on the wall – over or under? Over! I'm fine with Under if there is a second roll that is over :) hahaha

  17. What, or who, are you a “closet” fan of? Patrick Stewart

  18. What are three things still left on your bucket list? That's funny given the last question - See Patrick Stewart live in a play before he kicks the bucket.

  19. If you could have anyone superpower, which would you choose? Indestructible

  20. What is your favorite quote? "The most dangerous person is one who listens, thinks and observes." - Bruce Lee
