Sherlock LTD vs standard shorts sub deck

I'm new to having a subscription. And got lucky and got an LTD spot. I know the boxes are numbered, and I've looked at the pics on instagram of the regular shorts sub deck (sherlock), but my limited deck looks the same, and I'm curious if there is a difference in the cards or just the box? Am I missing something?

  • For the Shorts Subscription, the only differences between LTD and Standard is the tuck case. If you go to the Gilded, the tuck changes again and the same cards are gilded. Other than that, the cards are the same. The limited decks usually have a nicer looking tuck case and they are numbered for exclusivity. As a result of this, most people do not open the LTDs and open their standards to see the cards themselves. I hope this helps. - Paul

  • Thanks Paul! So the 13th deck is only an option on LTD subs though right?

  • That is correct. You only get the stickers if you you have a LTD sub. They do not give out Stickers on the Standard or Gilded subs.

  • Does it make me a monster that I buy these to open them? I have every day bicycle/Bee decks that I usually play with but I really like to open these and check them out and play a hand or two. I feel like I'm taking a serious collector's spot because I want the 13th deck. But I kinda don't feel that bad? I don't know man. Thanks again!

  • No man, not a monster at all. In fact, I salute your ability to open and enjoy them. I have some $15 decks that I want to open so bad, but I don't. I think if either of us have a problem, it is me. :)

I am glad you managed to snag a LTD spot! Enjoy and welcome to the Kings Wild Shorts Sub Club.
